I am a born again Christian born in the Murang’a county of Kenya. I work in Murang’a. I am married to Pastor Jane Wairimu Kahuho. I am a father of two; Keziah Christine Muthoni and Victor Mwangi. . I finished my lower secondary school level of education amidst many financial inadequacies. But having purposed to pursue knowledge, I managed to finance my education through simple jobs. I did my higher secondary school education and qualified to join a public university. This opened up my door to do the various graduate courses that I have pursued up to the moment. I have progressively labored and academically earned a Bachelor of Education (Arts), a Bachelor of Arts (Biblical studies0, a master of ministry (Christian Leadership) and I am today finishing my Doctor of Ministry (Pastoral studies).
SPIRITUAL AND MINISTRY PROFILE
I committed my life to Christ when I was a young youth. Since then, I have been a firm witness for Christ for 30 years, out of which I have spent 26 years shepherding specific congregations. I am a dedicated pastor-teacher; facilitating and participating in church leadership Development programs in our community and the larger Eastern Africa region. Together with other trainers, we are growing pastors, senior church leaders and supportive teams across denominations. God inspired me to establish the Glory of Christ Centre in 1995. This ministry has spread. It has today given birth to several congregations with each having its own pastoral team.
PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY
I am a strong believer that ministry should only be done for God’s glory. The church as an institution must be a Glory of Christ Centre. Credibility and integrity ought to adorn a church minister; as proven by accountability in resources and giftedness. I have never used godliness for material gain in order to guard the honour and the name of Christ .I believe that Christ should never be forced or used to serve the interests of the congregation, nor the needs of the church minister. I adhere to the value of life-long learning. That all church leaders should be learners. That God’s work should be done by thoroughly prepared men and women. I uphold leadership development. I operate within a clear leadership growth path where believers are trained and released for ministry. The focus is returning the church to its owner; the Lord Jesus Christ. Using Christian based principles and skills, creating an environment where souls walking in defeat enjoy an opportunity to have a second chance of living; thus adding value to whoever joins this ministry.
