Bible Verses

But when he, the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak of his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All what belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. John 16:13-15.


Simon Peter answered. ‘you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom  of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:16-19

Arise, shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Isaiah 60:1, 2.

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, ‘why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember what he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.  Luke 24:5-8.

Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom, we will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word Acts 6:3, 4.

Therefore go and make disciples of al nations, baptizing them in the name of the Sather and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Mathew 28:19-20.

I am the Lord; that is my name! I will no give my glory to another or my praise to idols, Isaiah 42:8

One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high on a rock. Psalms 27:4, 5.
Training Programmes

The Glory of Christ Centre believes that we all need to be trained for ministry. All our church leaders have gone through training for ministry. Every Christian who comes to us gets the chance to be prepared for service to God. We have got good and efficient church education programs for Christian development. We believe in training for excellence. Everyone who joins us has to go through training so as to develop to be a good follower and disciple of Christ. We have a beginners’ discipleship class for young and new converts, an advanced discipleship class for maturing Christians. Training for ministry and Christian leadership. Training in Bible schools at word of Faith Bible College and Christian life International Bible College.  

DISCIPLESHIP

Our basic training is the Beginners’ and the advanced discipleship class. This class aims at laying the faith foundation for the new and the young believers. We have over the years developed thousands of young believers and ushered them to spiritual maturity. Most of our church leaders have grown under our training programs. We desire that every one who comes to us is trained on the basics of the Christian faith and the new life in Christ. By the time when one goes through the program, they can pray for themselves confidently, study the word of God, be free of deception and be a productive member of the church. This training is offered free of charge and learning materials are offered without charge to all our young believers. Join this class for a foundational development in your Christian faith. Contact us a church to learn a few things on how you can establish a discipleship ministry in your church. A church with a strong Christian development programs will eventually bring up many in the faith.

TRAINING FOR SERVICE
With our aim being developing Christians to serve God, we prepare Christians for Christian service. None of our church members is given responsibility without training. This ensures excellence in al that we do. This helps them to know how to conduct oneself in Christian service and never embarrass Christ. How to handle yourself, to handle the people you serve and the work of God.  This is basic Christian leadership training. It’s also offered free of charge to our church leaders. All one needs is to be available and teachable.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Training for ministry follows leadership training. All the children workers, Praise and worship leaders, Ushers and caretakers in the church as well as premarital counselors among others have all gone through the relevant ministry training. We organize training for evangelism and outreach, church planting and others to empower, not just our church but many other churches around our localities.

BIBLE EDUCATION

We have opened up doors for Bible education to our church members, leaders and Christian workers in our church and other churches. Our overseer Rev. Samuel Kahuho has been to many Bible colleges. He is just about to complete his Doctoral degree studies. All our pastors have to get Biblical education as a basic requirement for ministry. Almost all our pastors have practical and pastoral Ministry qualifications from the Word of Faith Bible college of Kiambu, Kenya. This is an accredited and registered Christian institution. We have a satellite campus of the Word of Faith Bible College offering a certificate in leadership located at or church at Kiria-ini. The first group of students graduated here on 24th Nov 2012 with many others at the main college at Kiambu. The first class graduated with a certificate in leadership on 24th Nov 2012 at the man Campus in Kiambu. Christian leaders from many churches of different denominations are students in the college. The college charges very cheaply and leaders from different churches get high quality education.
